what he meant was to check if stripper config path is defined correctly in
Code: [Select]
/home/mateoza/Desktop/l4d2_1/left4dead2/cfg/cfgogl/promod/promod.cfg
something like.
Code: [Select]
confogl_addcvar stripper_cfg_path cfg/stripper/*matchmode*

also you can make sure if stripper is loaded by booting up your game connecting to your server and executing "meta list" in console

you should see something like:

Code: [Select]
] meta list
  [01] L4DToolZ (1.0.0.9h-2-g7465d71b-dirty) by Ivailosp
  [02] Stripper (1.2.2) by BAILOPAN
.........

if you can see that stripper is loaded but maps are still vanilla, it only means that stripper is not able to find the data it needs to modify the maps, which brings us back to the config path.

hmm, do this, check if you have the stripper folder in addons/ directory and also make sure you have stripper.vdf file in addons/metamod directory and it should look like this ->

Code: [Select]
"Metamod Plugin"
{
"file" "addons/stripper/bin/stripper_mm"
"alias" "stripper"
}

if you don't have either of those, head over to Click ME!!, download and install it.

ok stripper source is now loading and working the problem i think is the newest version of stripper source fixed it by downgrading back to an older version

Code: [Select]
meta list
Listing 10 plugins:
[01] Bulldozer Chargers (1.0) by Ilya "Visor" Komarov
[02] SourceMod (1.8.0.5928) by AlliedModders LLC
  [03] Stripper (1.2.2) by BAILOPAN

[05] Left 4 Downtown 2 Extension (0.5.7) by Igor "Downtown1" Smirnov / Andrew "XBetaAlpha" Burrows / AtomicStryker / Michael "ProdigySim" Busby / Visor

[08] SDK Hooks (1.8.0.5928) by AlliedModders LLC
  [09] SMRCon (1.2.1) by psychonic
[10] Builtin Votes (0.5.8) by Powerlord

but the models re still not working i added

confogl_addcvar stripper_cfg_path cfg/stripper/promod

into the file at

/home/mateoza/Desktop/l4d2_1/left4dead2/cfg/cfgogl/promod/promod.cfg

is there something else i needed to do?

you dnt need to add it into the promod.cfg because i'm pretty sure its already set, either in confogl.cfg or some other file, depending on your config.. could you tell me which version of promod you have installed?

and could you also make sure that in cfg/ directory you have the stripper folder? this folder should contain stripper data for each config, eg for promod it should contain a promod folder, if it does not then please head to Click ME! download it and upload the stripper folder into cfg directory of your server, and if it still doesnt work, we'll prolly have to investigate further.

i just noticed that you've sourcemod 1.8, downgrade sourcemod to 1.6.x from SMDrops and metamod 1.10.x, i'm pretty sure sourcemod 1.8 doesnt play well with confogl.

Someone please do something for windows  :D

Windows is not supported simply because of how many extensions don't have a Windows build, nor anyone interested in recompiling all of them for Windows.

Ok Installed everything according to this guide and added promod 5.0.3 and AceMod v4 configs. There is a problem. I join the server type !match and choose a mode then the server changes to that mode. Now I see ready unready thing on the left side of my screen. But if I type !match while in ready/unready mode the match mode selection menu appears for a second and disappers again. I think the list which shows whos ready whos not is blocking it. I cant access sm_admin menu also while the list on the left is active.
I mean how am I supposed to change game mode after choosing one by mistake.

Once you've loaded a mode you need to reset it before you can load a new mode, use !rmatch to reset the config and then use !match again to load another config..
