At this point, does anyone really need to ask? Also that article would have to be re-written every like 10 days for the next time I come back and bail.

No, we really don't, but pls come back we miss u :(

I mean, look at what happened to your tournament when you weren't around to run it

You realize threads like these are why "good" admins will never come back? See zen, estoopi, rails, etc.
Now fig won't host anymore and people will be begging him to host them again in a year.

To make matters worse, it looks like the rules were bent for TSSS and against Apollyon. As a spectator, I love hib, but his argument that he's a member-maybe of TSSS is weak, when I'm pretty sure he has subbed for at least two other teams in the tournament already and I'm pretty sure that's against the rules, isn't it?

You're incorrect, bud. I never subbed for any other team. Check the VODS. Anywho, I was a member of TSSS but I was taken off the roster for inactivity, because I basically retired/"got bored" from L4D2. I only came back became my teammates told me they needed me to sub, even though I stopped playing for a period of 2-3 months. The only other time I play is if my good friend Han asks me to.

Also, as far as "ringers". purple and han were both participants of the tournament. I didn't get to participate because of being busy with school. The thing is, both Han and I were planning to make a team but it didnt end up happening. Then, TSSS asked if I wanted to play with them, but since they only had 1 slot, I told them that "I would think about it". Then, after that me and Han planned on joining team Watevaz (however you spell it), but I had problems with one or two of the team members on it. Then, I asked apollyon, since they were my old CCT team, roster seemed to be filled. I then told Killerbeast to put me on the roster, which he confirmed he did, however since he wasn't 100% sure I was going to play with him, I responded to him, let's scrim and see if we do well together. I became inactive, I was taken off, deadlines came, I was to be put on the roster again, but fig said it was too late. The deadline for roster changes is over. I asked him if he could ninja me back in and he responded "It's against the rules" or something. So I listened and ended up playing Evolve.

I already gave my two cents on the subject in the other thread (though quickly ignored despite wide agreement) and have declared my neutral stance on the subject, so I'm not swinging at Hib or any other team. However, I do believe in accuracy of facts and reliable information and have to say that Hib did, in fact, ring for my team during the swiss rounds versus team Vox Populi. I think Hib does need to be treated as a ringer in this case as well.

That being said, I don't think it should matter and still think the game should be played and resumed from where it was just so that everyone can shut the fuck up about this whole thing, give a golf clap to the winner, and move forward from this flop of a playoffs to the next tournament with a few lessons learned. Like, I bet there is not a single person that will disagree with the failure of these playoffs, so does it really matter that much what rules are used/what happens to finish the thing? I think everyone will be willing to compromise in the name of finally getting it over with.

The winner is the United States.

What does it take for the OP to understand with his miniscule gray goo he dares to call "brain" that you can't always get what you want in this life? Grow the fuck up already. This is how everything works in this world: someone does something you dislike and you can't do shit about it. You have to deal with it.

No, your little virgin nerd rant is not going to change anything. Only thing it will contribute to is complete silence on the competitive arena. Realize it, dork -- and the likes of you: your actions(aka your forum diarrhea) DIRECTLY affect the desire and/or probability of other potential tournament makers of stepping up and organising a competitive event in this community. Digesting that to your language means that you bitching about some shitty game not getting played, and insulting the cup admin along the way through childish 5th grade nicknames, will not change things towards the better. In fact, it will have quite the opposite drastic effect of completely destroying anyone's intentions of organising an event.

I'm sick of seeing how toxic and infant people in this community can be. I've only seen once when one of the bitching players actually decided that he can do a cup better than anyone else. He ended up "subbing" a friend with a smurf on his own cup. That was probably one of the hugest fuck ups an admin can do. Obviously he never admitted that he did anything wrong and didn't judge himself, but his humiliated reputation is going to stick to him forever now. The biggest shit talker turned out to be the worst possible admin, worse than all the other combined. I'm talking about the infamous Caryman from the russian and european communities. That's the real type type of cup admin that should be bashed and exiled.

I'm locking this forum so that no more shit is spilled from some of the "unsatisfied" mouths. Keep it to yourself.

Anyone who touches this subject again will be permanently banned.
$10 says you aren't anywhere near a controlling position of the L4D3 scene in any continent when it happens.

Thing is he does what he wants, cause his able to and we are letting him do that. He abuses hes place and power in this community and people like me get banned for no reason. Only thing visor wants is more and more control so he can do what ever he wants.

A dedicated community website to competitive L4D and L4D2, ran by the community, for the community. L4DNation supports all continents of play and focuses on bringing together the community as a whole to a central hub of information.
