News / Re: Officially Announcing The Really Big Tournament #4!

Woah. Let's see if small fires of the dying community desperately trying to keep on burning will be albe to pull through this time around.
Lol. This clown posts this every. single. time. and always gets proven wrong, but he'll be back again next time I'm sure. :D

Hackers & Cheaters / Re: [L4D2] Is that Hack?

Yes, short of watching over the player's shoulder, a demo or livestream would be the best way to confirm it. It's true that a video can be edited. However, editing this to make it look exactly like an aimbot would be extremely difficult even for a professional, so I find it unlikely and not worth considering.

Yeah, that's an aimbot.

I miss crxglows. Banning waits was stupid :(

Congrats to sorry 4 getting bravo on their win! Thanks to everyone for playing!

Since we recognize it's annoying to have to sign up for the same tournament twice, we want to clarify a point about the rosters.

For those teams that made it to playoffs, your roster in the Swiss section is effectively your roster in the knockout. That means you don't necessarily have to sign everyone up again.

The bracket is generated and the playoffs are now live. Please begin scheduling your matches!

On Dead Center 1 (c1m1) the tank flow percentage must be set to 85% with the following command: !voteboss 85 85

Round 3 has been re-generated to fix the problems and the pairings are now live. If you looked at the pairings previously, please look again as it's almost certain that the team you are paired against has changed. Thanks everyone for your patience while we got this sorted out.

9:06 PM - apathy: kk so friday 11:30pm est / 23:30 cet
As you may be aware, 23:30 = 11:30 PM. It's just a different way of writing the same thing. Also, the difference between EST and CET is 6 hours. How do you think the match could take place at 11:30pm EST and 11:30pm CET simultaneously?

The Teams

Should add this to the post, or just make a pastebin of the who the teams are
You can find this from the pairings page by hitting "Back to Tournament" and then "View teams"

Speaking to Jay / Grizz dax / MK since I know you two are behind the exclusivity:
I don't know what the intent is behind it? Something tells me it's something not healthy at all, and it has to do with control / power. You do what you want at the end of the day, but if you expect people to be forced on your server indefinetly to satisfy your insecurities you're (probably, hopefully) wrong.
I talked to MK about this and the gist I got from him is that efreak has a vision of a hacker-free community, and if they published the config it would mean hackers banned on efreak could just play on a different server.

I'm not endorsing that view, fyi. Just repeating what I heard.
