Dragon and his fucking 5$ mic

Touché. And on that subject, thank you for recommending the 5$ mic to me!  8)

(Skip to TL;DR section at the bottom if this post is too long for your eyes)

Before people in the background start taking the shit-stirring up another notch or two, it was my decision as the acting admin of that match to enforce the restart. Nameless' tank got a free incap from Chii who crashed. The very least that would be expected of any team possessing some level of sportsmanship would be to offer a restart in such a scenario.

Contrary to what Nameless believed, an administrative decision like this does NOT require the consent of one or both teams. Chii crashed, she and her team wanted the restart initially and then was so frustrated that she just wanted to play on, but as she was playing in the match, it was not her decision to make as it would be a conflict of interests on her part. The incident and Chii's participation in this match fall under the categories of these three rules which are the first three ones listed here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/vaginasplease/discussions/0/618459109263964612/

- Chii and myself (Dragon) are your admins for this tournament. Contact either one/both of us if you have any questions or disputes.

- We reserve the right to make any changes to the tournament rules or format that we deem necessary, as well as making decisions we feel are appropriate regarding unforeseen circumstances or suspicious scenarios that occur during tournament matches.

- If available at the time, I will act as the sole admin in the event that Chii is competing in a tournament match, as to provide impartiality and avoid conflict of interests.

These rules were written before the tournament went live. The incident where Chii crashed and invi's tank incapped a stationary Ellis falls under "unforeseen circumstances", thus we (or I in this instance) reserve the right to make a judgement call that is deemed necessary. And because Chii is the captain for F&S, as per the rules, it fell on me to make the necessary decisions alone. I ordered the restart. Because the server was MLG Shack, I didn't have admin access on it, but both ika and Chii do, so I passed on the command and the forced restart happened.

After the first restart, Nameless then thought they had to give invi the tank (as she had it in the incidental tank fight previously), so they made it go AI several times of their own accord, when they didn't need to. It was the finale, they had all played at least 1 tank each in the previous 4 maps. It was a huge error of their own making, (which technically according to their own logic, wasn't the other team's problem but somehow this in their minds DID warrant a restart in comparison to a survivor crashing and profiting from it with a free incap!).

I said to them in all-chat not to spec out this time, but they still did it anyway, and then tried to blame F&S for shooting their tank when they were repeating the same mistake in trying to give invi a tank she didn't have to play. They were warned that there wouldn't be a restart if they repeated the same mistake, but that didn't stop them from tripping over themselves again, so the match continued on.

After the match, Smile said that apparently, tanks profiting from survivors who have crashed is a normal thing in Russian competition. She was unable to understand the basic concept that she and her team were not playing in a Russian-based competition, that there's a great possibility that rules and etiquette might actually be perceived differently on an international scale, especially as the majority of the competing teams are based in North America. She and her team still claim that the decision to restart was unfair, despite myself and Chii fully explaining to them why it's not considered fair to hit a crashed survivor and then continue to incap a bot before the player could rejoin her team after the unpause.

Smile even demanded a full rematch on the NA server (yes, all the way from 1-5) but myself and Chii both know that isn't necessary. They still had a game to play on the EU server but clearly frustrated about not getting things all their way, Nameless have said they've decided to withdraw from the tournament. I personally think that's a huge mistake to forfeit on the basis of not being able to keep an unfair advantage, when not only was it the obvious decision to make but almost everyone watching the stream at the time concurred that the restart was the right thing to do as well (unless there were Nameless supporters in the stream chat who said differently, I didn't see when I browsed it).

Unless they change their minds and decide to play the return game, Nameless won't be featuring at all in the concluding part of this tournament. Chii and I will decide what to do next and how to proceed with the remaining two teams, however this incident isn't actually over as there are still one or two matters brought to our attention in the wake of last night's match which require further investigation and cannot be publicly disclosed at this time.

TL;DR - Chii crashed during finale intro tank, invi's tank punched and incapped Chii's bot before she could rejoin after unpause and gaining a free incap, it was my decision to restart, Nameless thought restart required their consent, Nameless then sent their tank AI several times to give their original intro tank back to the player who punched Chii when she crashed, they restarted again, they tried giving the tank back to invi again despite being told not to do that, Nameless blame F&A for shooting the tank when they were trying to swap the intro tank between players when they didn't need to and were told not to and after all of that, me and Chii are "shitty admins" for not allowing teams to keep unfair advantages and for not condoning unsportsmanlike behaviour. Good times!
