That's one way to farm ideas.

Interesting that it was for a customer support role.

If I were asked that I'd probably question whether versus itself made sense to be scored. i.e. Maybe the gamemode should be changed to accomodate a more concrete scoring system.

Edit: of course, in an interview scenario if I didn't already know about l4d I'd wonder "What purpose does scoring serve?" "What to players want to see scored?" and try a few options.

Its been nearly 10 years since launch of L4D2.

Why now ask a question like this? It makes me feel like the development really hasn't even started?

I mean on the surface, its a nice little bone thrown to a community that stuck with them through all the drama of the first two games that they created.

On the other hand, it makes me think they should totally redesign the game. Make it more of a sandbox game instead of a go kart game.

For all the mutations and whatnot. The only things people kept coming back to was coop and vs.

Needs a redesign or some innovation.

The "joke" is that Valve cant count to three. Left 4 Dead 3, Half Life 3, Dota 3, Portal 3, and Team Fortress 3 dont exist. Just the prequel and sequels. I dont think L4D3 is to surface anytime soon.
