I don't get 128 tick. You cannot raise your cmdrate higher than 100.

Well perhaps try it out first before commenting? Dustin has 9 servers now so there's no shortage of opportunities for you.

If you're too lazy to go and see for yourself, I'll give you a hint: I wouldn't roll out a broken product. Another hint: my tickrate enabler plugin is not the same as the one used by everyone else in L4D2.

Thing is he does what he wants, cause his able to and we are letting him do that. He abuses hes place and power in this community and people like me get banned for no reason. Only thing visor wants is more and more control so he can do what ever he wants.

just from my personal test of the 128 dustin servers, everything seemed laggy. I don't think those were the best servers to use as a proof of concept on 128 tick

I don't think you've played on the 128 ones then, since I've heard completely different things today from at least 5 different players, plus dustin himself. Another possibility is that your PC cannot provide you with stable 128 fps or above, in which case yes, your experience won't improve significantly.

That's why I mentioned the cmd, cannot be changed to 128 (client side). So what now? Leave as is?

nah definitely playing at 300 fps and net is just fine enough for it. Who knows, maybe it was just the one server that i played on

But I'm talking about client side.

My rates were 100 update, 100 cmd and rate 10000.
It would show like this on the net graph:

I input in console

Resulting in these numbers.

So my question was if the client side mattered with the cmd not changing accordingly.

A config needs to be enabled I think for the updaterate to change, if I'm not mistaken.

Do you not pay attention to the servers you choose? Clearly that's Dustin's Confogl, not Dustin's hyper-v. One is managed by Nivy, the other by Visor.  I heard you complaining about this earlier in mumble.
