ZONEMOD v 1.2 Weekend Tourney 3rd try Signups

This will be my third attempt at hosting a weekend tourney on the new zonemod config occurring 5/5 - 5/7

  • Updated AutoPause so that it no longers pauses during Ready-up and Round Ends.
  • Friendly Fire forgiveness after clears has been set to 0.8s (was 0.2)
  • Parish Map 2: Planks against the walls at the end of Park, near the hedges, have been removed.
  • Parish Map 3: The Custom Route in the Graveyard has been removed, Map Distance is set back to 600.
  • Dark Carnival Map 3: Coaster Tank has been blocked and the finite horde is set back to 300.

- first 8 teams to signup get to play.
- signups must include a team name, team cpt and steam url's
- roster limit is 6, but if teams agree on ringers any noncompeting player may be used as a ringer

Hello everyone. Doesn't look we're gonna reach 8 teams. I am not sure how much of that i can attribute to the site being down a few weeks ago. Nevertheless this will continue. When its all said and done i think this has potential. Week 1 we saw reflux, i'm thinking that a spin each week might be interesting. I'm still waiting for sir's new reflux-esque acemod port.

Anyway with only 5 teams signing up I devised the brackets in a way so as to allow the winner of the 4 team bracket to play the winning team from the previous event. This way there still will be matches friday, saturday and sunday.

Same rules regarding map selection which i will quote here


Important, this tournament will not have set maps. As I did before when i ran this, there will be map vetoing. For those unfamiliar with the process I will give an example.

The purpose of this thread is to help people better understand how maps will be picked, and give feedback on which maps they would like to see. For the time being, the pool will continue to contain Dead Air, Death Toll, Dead Center, Hard Rain, Swamp Fever, Dark Carnival and Parish.
Here is an example of the map selection process

team a wins coinflip and differs
team b eliminates dead center
team a eliminates dead air
team b eliminates dark carnival
team a eliminates swamp fever
team b eliminates death toll
team a eliminates hard rain
the only map remaining is parish, so that is the map for that match



The map pool will contain all of the following:

Dead Air
Dead Center
Death Toll
Parish
Dark Carnival
Hard Rain
Swamp Fever


Round 1 matches will occur on Friday
Round 2 matches will occur on Saturday
The final round match (Round 3) will occur on Sunday

Ringers are allowed but players competing or eliminated from other teams may not ring under any circumstances. Trying to be lax w/ ringers but the one thing we dont need to see is team hopping.

If anyone needs anything feel free to add me. In the future I hope to find someone to replace fig who ran this with me in the past but for now I will handle all disputes and do as many casts as I can for this. Please post match times ASAP on here. All information relating to casts will also be posted here. Thanks and Good Luck Everyone!!
