I am sorry, I should have added that I am just on the client side, connecting to the server and typing "!match" to load promod, and then typing other vote commands like "!shuffle", etc.. Is there a vote feature like this to activate realism mode ? Thanks.
I am used to play versus realism (almost 1000 hours, including other modes), and I just find it strange that competitive mods don't include realism by default (or at least disable the outlines around survivors). It just seems noobish to me.
$10 says you aren't anywhere near a controlling position of the L4D3 scene in any continent when it happens.
Thing is he does what he wants, cause his able to and we are letting him do that. He abuses hes place and power in this community and people like me get banned for no reason. Only thing visor wants is more and more control so he can do what ever he wants.

It just seems noobish to me. I just don't understand, because there really is skill to be found here. In realism players are forced to crank up their awareness. Anyway, thanks for the answer, I guess there is no easy solution to this from a client side.I play on your servers from time to time
If you think modern competitive configs are "noobish", why don't you try and play a match against even a low team? I'm fairly certain you would lose, with or without outlines. There is nothing skilled about keeping in mind where your teammates went, this isn't CS. L4D2's awareness is more about smart positioning and predicting where the SI could attack from, as well as attention to your surroundings in crucial moments. Realism promotes communication more than actual awareness or teamplay, unless you're playing silently(in which case, you're already doing it wrong).
