Rules
« on: May 07, 2015, 06:07:49 pm »
This will be a growing list. Not knowing the rules does not make you exempt from them. I did not just copy paste these rules from somewhere, these are rules I plan to enforce.

Disclaimer: These are simply the rules that moderators will enforce. Players are allowed to report other players for any reason they see fit.

Behavior:
- Players are allowed to swear as much as they want, but are not allowed to use racial slurs.
- Racism / Xenophobia / Sexism / Homophobia of any kind will not be tolerated.
- Players are allowed to all chat as long as it is not disruptive to the game. (Bind spamming or instigating the other team will not be allowed)
- Players will not be punished for having a negative attitude.
- Harassing players via steam, ixdl chat, in game chat, or mumble for any reason is not allowed.
- Pornographic sprays are not allowed. Any other spray is allowed.

Gameplay:
- Lerp toggling is not allowed. Players are only allowed to change lerp at the start of a map.
- Intentionally getting stuck as infected in order to teleport is not allowed.
- Spectating to sack an SI when you are not stuck is not allowed, unless you are a spitter during tank.

Substitutions
- If a player needs to be subbed out, all players are to mark that player as truant using !truant playername in the client.
- Players are allowed to find a sub that is up to 100 rank higher than the player they are replacing.
- If players can not find an adequate sub then: If the player was on the winning team, players are to result the game as a draw. If the player was on the losing team, players are to result the game as a win for the winning team.
- The lobby host must then message a moderator or post in the warns / bans thread and tell them what player was subbed out, and who replaced them.
- The player that is subbed out will receive 0 points in the case that their team wins.
- The player that subs in for the missing player will receive half the points that the player he replaced would have gotten if his team wins.
- The player that subs in for the missing player will not lose any points if his team loses.

Lobbies / Mumble / Server:
- Players are allowed to play from any region. If a lobby is labeled as EU the game is to be hosted on an EU server. If not the game will be hosted on an NA server.
- Players are not required to join mumble in order to play, however they are encouraged to.
- Players can agree upon a mumble server in the pre-game lobby of the client. In the future we will automate this.
- Players are to agree upon a game server in the pre-game lobby of the client. If players can not agree on a server, the default will be Dallas in NA games. In EU games, the lobby host will pick. It is the responsibility of the lobby host to make the lobby or join and distribute the IP of the server. In the future this will be automated.
- Players are required to play on the map that the client tells you to. It is the responsibility of the lobby host to make the lobby or server on that map.
