Welcome to Streaming & Casting
« on: October 13, 2014, 03:54:41 pm »
Just one thing I could think of for now:

Keep in mind that this wing is NOT intended to be a place for announcing any upcoming streams. For these purposes, use Steam groups or the related tournament's according subforum.

Would be nice if someone stepped up and made a comprehensive, modern, up-to-date guide for streamers and/or casters. Don't forget that these two guys have wildly different roles: one is there to broadcast the match in the best possible quality, from the best possible angle(and actually, he doesn't even need a headset); whereas the other is there to describe what's going on on the screen in a clear voice and dialect(of course, with abundant usage of professional terminology!).

That's it for now.

$10 says you aren't anywhere near a controlling position of the L4D3 scene in any continent when it happens.

Thing is he does what he wants, cause his able to and we are letting him do that. He abuses hes place and power in this community and people like me get banned for no reason. Only thing visor wants is more and more control so he can do what ever he wants.

Cool stuff, I suppose I could recycle my old guide for getting stuff setup and update it, considering I've been slacking quite a lot lately. (:

If xbye isn't planning to update it, I will see what I can do with his old thread on OBS settings, exc.  It just needs to be updated a little.  Maybe update links on plugins, and settings, exc.  It would be excellent to get all our camera men to have the best settings for our viewers.

I for one, would love to do camera work. If someone could take my wife out for dinner during casts (to get her off my back!) that would be great.
