L4dNation Weekend Tourney Week 2 (8/22 - 8/24) Signups *$60 Prize to Winner*

signups for next week are officially open. As the title states, thanks to Donald there is a $60 prize pool to be distributed to the winning team, so long as we reach an 8 team minimum by next thursday!

Rules for this event can be found here in addition to the map selection by veto process. For the time being the pool will continue to contain the 5 L4D2 Standard Campaigns in addition to Dead Air and Death Toll (where we saw the week 1 finals) although as we get closer to CCT3 I do plan to incorporate some of the maps in that as a sort of testing and feedback pre-tournament. Anyway signups are now open, first 8 teams that post get to play: Teamname, Roster (max of 6) and steam id's / steam urls.

Brackets will be posted shortly after the first 8 teams signup and match times and results should also be posted here.

considering we actually have a prize pool this week, i am going to be a little less lenient with a few things:
- 8 team minimum must be met for the event to start
- absolutely NO RINGERS from any team signed up, regardless as to whether they have been eliminated or not. Teams may use ringers not on other rosters only if both teams agree.
- no trolling or exploiting in matches like last week

donald has generously already donated the money and while he had intended to sign his own team up to compete, he will not so that alone speaks to how selfless he is. the best way we can appreciate his act is to get 8 teams and have a professional, yet fun event. first two teams look good, hope to see some more that can compete with them!

there will be 4 matches friday, 2 matches saturday and the finals match on sunday. in the previous event, we were able to cast every single match on friday because they were all conveniently scheduled 2 hrs apart from eachother. while that was awesome, i dont expect the same to occur again, most likely matches  will be happening at the same time. in that case, perhaps we can cast both if joe and xbye are both available and willing.
