and i just think that the admins favor you in all this.

Nobody got favored by the admins, you guys just got screwed by server crashes. The final admin decision favored nobody, it was just the right call to make. I know right - L4D2 tourney admins making unbiased calls? Never thought we'd see the day. /snark
I look forward to this post being taken down so that you can continue running a corrupt system for a game that has less teams then I can count with one hand.

That's usually what happens when you tell an admin to give an opponent a FFW and don't play your 2nd scheduled match out of rage.

^ Just wanted to say that never happened.  I never even talked to Dena so I'm sure everything I've ever said got skewed in some way.

Is there an end goal to this thread or are we just proving how retarded we all are?

It's a custom campaign tournament with no prize pool, the fuck is wrong with you people. Do you have no lives?

well its easy for you to say now u and bad were gonna play the EU game. lets say grizz, doodle and lust played. that is 3 guys with yellow ping. not red. and i ping around 120 to NY so that is atleast what grizz and lust would get, dont know about doodle.

but lets lay down arms hib, not here to argue with you. it is not like we are out of the tournament. we only lost 1 game so we are still in good stand off for making it.. I just dont think that guys would had taken this with lightly if it happend to u on an EU server.
but i am trying to point out like rails just said that these rules of homeserver etc is not working. and i just think that the admins favor you in all this.

but even you have to admit that the chances of you wiping us on both tanks with 4 fast and 4 pills is highly unlikely.

I have not in any way "argued" with you. I am just stating facts and am neutral as if I were an admin myself.

This however, may be considered a rebuttle. I already told you that I was expected to play with bAD because our team believes we should all have equal opportunity to play and represent our team as a whole.

Myself, Grizz and I think Doodlebugs have played most of the matches due to all of us being able to make the matches.
bAD said, he doesn't mind having me play for his playtime which I have also offered him to take my spot in other matches.
Acer has net problems, he randomly spikes up to 210 ping on US servers for random reasons.
Lust, generally busy or doing other things, he hasn't played previous matches and we wanted him to shine for the bedtime game.

Here's a hypothetical, let's say myself and acer are not able to play because or personal reasons (family matters or work). We are entitled to use subs since they are registered therefore, cannot deny them playing in whichever match they may choose to play. We did not use "ringers" so your opinion on whether they are allowed to play or not is invalid.

I'm going to make a promise to the L4Dnation community, when I become a billionaire I will pay for all the top teams to fly to my private island and we'll have a big LAN tournament, afterwards we will drink sambuca and talk about how hard life is.

P.S
someone get a Hawaii server!

Wernicke-Korsakoff’s Syndrome much ?

Rules never work as intended when decisions like this have to be taken. Remember that this is international. Or your team is like NV and doesn't give a chance or you have to deal with stuff like this.

Listen.. I understand it can be troublesome and unfair but this is what you get by being part of l4d 2 competitive community.

Agreed this whole thread is just silly. If betime thinks they could have beaten apollyon with better pings (which considering how the first game went i think they had a chance) then why didn't they just play the second match where they would have had better pings? Just makes no sense to me.

Unfortunately the server crashed, oh well. It happened, could have also happened in the EU game.

If I recall correctly, from previous tournaments, if there is a glitch/bug, the chapter of the glitch occurrence gets replayed from the start.

I don't think there are rules stating server crashes, but it seems plausible to replay the round because we don't have any "server doctor" to record the survivor's distance, hb, boolean if tank/witch was killed or not and etc. (This would be a good addon to future tournaments)

If a team deserves to win, it should be based on consistency and not because of luck. If a team is able to pull off 500 bonus in one round, they should be able to recreate it.
