interest in a survival versus config?

i made one a long time ago but i never really finished it. was thinking of just making a new one cuz it sounds fun. opinions?

If you do, you should configure it so that the game doesn't return to lobby or end the match when one team fails to beat the highest score of the other (as the default survival versus does). Matches are too short in that way imo. Maybe configure a "best of x" where both teams have a chance to play on the survivor side x amounts of times, and whichever team achieves the highest time in x amount of plays wins the match. 3 rounds by default sounds fair, but maybe it's something you want to let teams vote on ( best of 3, 5, 7, 10), in case some players want a longer game. The config itself sounds like a lot of fun; I think it's a great idea.

Seeing as tank fights are what I found most interesting I always thought it would be cool to have a survival - like config where it's a continous tank fight, survives get points for every tank kill or every 1k of tank health as well as points over time (in such a way that its balanced).

Tanks can't rage out but if they just hide the survivors will still be gaining points. If tanks just keep trying to commit over and over survivor will get poitns for damage to tanks.

It's a big leap from just simple survival but I always thought this would be a fun side mode.
