I've seen it. The amount of pixelation the regular fog creates is already bad enough. Unless I plan to stream +4000kb/s...

Not sure I should have done this without Zeon's permission, but I went ahead and adjusted the placement of the WatchL4D logo on the CastUI and scooted it down just a touch so that we can see the gas can count on scavenge finales (Dead Center, Dark Blood, etc.)  But without the gas can counter there, the logo might look to be a bit out of place as it leaves a little negative space above it.  Your call on whether or not to use it.  Grab it if you need it.

I fumbled around in the Authoring Tools and tried to figure out where I would even start if I wanted to make my own UI.  I got absolutely nowhere.  If you know the basics and can point me in the right direction, I'm sure I can figure out how to do it.  Friend me on Steam and we'll chat about it.

Authoring Tools has nothing to do with making UIs, it's a lot more complicated. It's about learning to use GCFScape, VTFEdit, knowing a bit of programming and compiling VPKs.

Here is an update to the current hud you are using: http://www.l4dnation.com/casting-streaming/sharing-shource-graphics-for-steamers/

Zeon,
Pretty interested in how you lay out the HUD.  Do you just create an image in your graphics software, get it the way you like it looking, and then cut it up into smaller images that you lay out with the scripts?  Or is there a program that helps you do it more simpler?  I have VTFedit and GCFscape but am far from being well-versed.  I've dug into some VPKs and poked around to get a general idea how they're put together but still don't even know the basics.  Hit me up on steam sometime, I'd like to chat with you about it.

I always wondered what's stopping Jacob from just including them in the package straight away. They were redundant before with Downtown 0.5.4.2, but now when Promod has officially become dependant on 0.5.7, there's no longer any sense in not doing so.
$10 says you aren't anywhere near a controlling position of the L4D3 scene in any continent when it happens.

Thing is he does what he wants, cause his able to and we are letting him do that. He abuses hes place and power in this community and people like me get banned for no reason. Only thing visor wants is more and more control so he can do what ever he wants.

I'm gunna be honest and say I thought the first plugin was built in functionality of downtown. Including them both next update.

Here's a crucial update for Server Owners, as registered casters could crash the Servers whenever they wanted to (if they knew about the exploit)
Big thanks to Deli for reporting the issue.

caster_assister: [ Source / Plugin ]
Just override the existing plugin in your plugins/optional folder and you're good to go.

Thanks Sir and Deli - should the version in /optional/zonemod also be replaced?
