I just want to say I love casters and never had a problem with them. I dont mind joking, but during this match not sure if was just cause battle was cranky but he needs to lighten up a bit.

Example 1:
Just cause someone doesnt want to use mumble, doesnt care for mumble, and doesnt even know specs can hear everyone talking because we (Sloppy Joes) just use in game voice, doesnt mean you can go around calling that person an annoying faggot. didnt seem like you were joking around at all.

Example 2:
There is nothing wrong with questioning survivor/infected gameplay, but to flat out call both teams on numerous occasions straight up idiots is ridiculous

Example 3: During the ladder dispute talk, yes we didnt read rules, was our fault. The spitter only blocked for 3 seconds not even, and the boomer (myself) just jumped down the ladder no block whatsoever, but nevertheless we did in fact break the rules for 2-3 seconds, apologize. During the following chapter chyna was kidding around when he was talking about dumb ladder blocks. He was not even talking to the other team, just being chyna and talking to us in chat when he has a mic, so theres no reason for anyone to be saying anything. No reason for battle to go off saying we are idiots once again.

I dont mean to be a whiney bitch but theres been a big thread about being professional. I understand doesnt have be serious mode 24/7 but just lighten up a bit and dont be such a sassy pants. This is why we dont even like matches casted because we dont play frequently and just play every now and then. Constant negativity is not needed. Dont mind tips or questions stuff but no reason to be disrespectful.

I have no problems with you Battle, love your casting, just ease up a bit because not everyone likes to be called annoying faggot idiots numerous times.

Great close game.

Yup, it's better for the crowd too when the casters are framing the action as entertaining and makes the game seem more exciting and interesting. Casters should analyze mistakes honestly and point out what teams could have done better but when they are just constantly talking trash about the players then the spectators learn nothing and it just kills the atmosphere. I don't mean to brown nose but Prodigysim is really good at this (intentionally or not) when he's casting because he does a good job of maintaining the frame that it's anyone's game, and he makes it seem like mistakes only add to the excitement and drama of a live match. A good caster should be more likely to give props ("WOW"s etc) when teams do something well and when they make mistakes he'll give some insight about what the losing team could be doing better, so it's nothing but upside for spectators.

Battle is a cool guy and I have nothing but respect to him for his volunteering but it seems like the more people point this out to him the more he just defiantly doubles down on his "bad boy" caster persona. We're not trying to drag anyone down, we just want everyone to improve is all.

I agree about the casting. I would feel very discouraged from playing more after being publicly shittalked on a casted game...

i don't like listening to battle cast. sounds like that faggy british guy from the daily show with john stewart. staying up late to cast a game isn't an excuse to be a dick.

I generally love Battle's casting and appreciate the time he puts into it.  I agree, though, he was a bit off the reservation a few times last night.

When you teams decide to show us disrespect and delay the game beyond 10 minutes from scheduled time before even in the damn server, I believe it is fair and reasonable to show you the same disrespect.

From what I saw, CTFO was in server and ready within that time frame.  Sloppy Joes was not.  I was not at PC when the match started, but at 11minutes after, I gave a 2-4 minute estimate for a start.  I understand it takes a bit to make sure everyone's mumble is working, everyone's binds are working, getting the server ready, etc.  10 minutes should be more than enough.

Also, the tin can where the bottle caps and shirt buttons are deposited for our efforts isn't rattling.  Yesterday, we got told of this match 4 hours ahead of it happening.  Me and Sud picked people who we knew could keep it going in between attacks.  Dead air may be a campaign, but its not liked on a cast.

So basically what am  I saying?  Show us disrespect, get disrespected.  Show us the basic courtesy of showing up on time, and we will probably keep it nicer.  QQ more.  Your tears are yummy.  We ain't payed to put up with your shit.
Available as a SD camera if asked.

For better or for worse, I suppose that's how it goes when your casters are doing what they do for the love of the game. If you want professionalism try asking E-Rev or Pwnage TV to come back. (Or you could just ask someone that you think would act "professionally" if they would please cast your game if they could make it. I'd be willing to give it a shot but I don't usually get asked to cast until about an hour before the game starts and I'm often busy at that particular point in time.)

ok umm we were in game at 8:00 pm all 4 of us before we even heard word of CTFO online. we wait till around 8:10 before even getting an invite, At 8:10 i had to take a shit so im sorry if taking a shit takes more than 5min and we got in server after invite around 8:15. I dont even know who you are SL to be in this conversation when I am directing all this to Battle personally bashing me and my team on numerous occasions, but I have no idea where you are coming from. We were playing parish not dead air, so if you are speaking of the current match I dont even know what you talking about once again. Jeff/Sud were streamin  and from what I know you werent, so why you are coming into this thread and telling me to qq more tears funny, it just plain immature. I dont even know when a match has every been played on time, so I have no idea why this is even coming into play and broguht up as an excuse for him being disrespectful. As for the last paragraph sounds like you also need to lightten up a bit. I dont know of anyone whether it is for sports, games, anything who likes to be publicly disrespected/bashed numerous occasions during a game that we play cause we enjoy it and take constant shit like that. I know we arent top level like Vertical Rise or Cynister, but seriouly we all start somewhere no reason to bring us down for no reason.

I do SD camera when jeff is too busy with school/too tired from school to do it, and sud isn't available or we want dual hd/sd.  And are you saying I have to be Somebody to have an opinion?  To matter to you?  Guess what, its the internet.  Everyone has opinions.

CTFO is who told us of the match, they were in server with camera + casters before 10 after.  If they failed to communicate the ip with you, well then that is on them.  Albeit right click - view game info is so hard and stressful I know (I know someone on both of your teams has the other added, else it would have been real hard to arrange a time and day).

Dead Air was a pun....dead air like nothing being said, Dead Air is a campaign.

As far as starting on time in general, yeah the whole lot of the community is irresponsible about being on time.  Like I said, 10 after should be a safe bet.  More often than not, it aint.  I am not happy about it, but if that is how the lot of you will behave, fine.  Expect to be disrespected and called idiots.

Yes, i was annoyed last nite, primarily because of the pre game attitude i experienced before you caught onto the fact that the specs could hear ingame team talk. treat me with disrespect and i will return it 10 fold.

Dont worry haircut i sponsored the plastic to bring water to the wells for your newly adopted child. He'll do fine.

As always your support is welcomed, however if you have a direct problem with me casting check the threads jeff makes request a different caster its no skin off my nose. im sorry you feel that way boat, of course if your opinion had any real worth to me other than that of dogshit id atleast try to act remorseful or hurt by them.

NF - I dont see you complaining when i casted cynister vs ZSN recently i refere you to the "request a different caster if you have a problem" comment.

ProjectGSX - Thank you for the continued support, but maybe you should also rewatch the VOD and take a long hard listen how you and your team mates conducted themselves during war room inflammatory to say the least and from the stream chat comments a far side worse from anything i said.

Fig - While i appreciate your comments and completely understand where your comming from with them its frankly the fucking audacity and arrogance behind some people in this community that pisses me off to no ends and as a result i let loose wether im on air or not, i have no qualms hiding what i think about a certain person and granted i was overly critical and harsh last night which i do to some extent apologise for however once again i will not be openly disrespected by the people im giving my time up for to cast.
